This site will, over a period of time, contain several applications that can be used for very specific purposes. The basic concept of the site is that the applications will be easy to use

Each of these can be downloaded to a computer for up to 30 days free usage after which registration is required and payment will also be required. Simple Game 1 requires no registration or fee.

The registration is per PC and must be completed to continue to use the product after the trial period.

Simple Budget

This has been setup to be as simple as possible to allow you to setup Expenditure and Income budgets but do not want to have to use spreadsheets.

You can setup a configuration file which contains information about individual components of your budget. You enter the information once and then tell it to repeat after a nominated period of time.

Eg1. You might want to nominate Petrol and put in a weekly figure and tell the system to repeat every second week for the months 1 through 12

Eg2. You might want to nominate Electricity and the first bill will come in March and you want to repeat every three months

Once entered you then select the Monthly view and the system will display the figures for each month for a 12 month period. This has the option of separating Expenditure and Income.

By default Spend will be summarized as positive figures and income as negative as many people may only want to enter Spend figures. There is an option to reverse this if Spend and Income are used.

You can now enter actual Spend and Income information and produce reports, graphs and output to .csv files for opening in spreadsheets.

You can also input information from Bank extracts produced in .csv format to assist in entering Income and Spend information.

Simple Garden

This is a simple program to allow you to keep track of the plants you have in your garden beds around your property or multiple properties.

You setup the garden beds and then assign plants to the gardens. This is done by loading textual and pictorial information of the garden beds. You also load the plants again with both test and pictures.

To assign the plants to the beds they are in you load a bed and select a picture of the bed and then click on the plants one by one and assign a plant to the spot you have identified.

There are two databases available in the download. A test sample (the default) with a couple of beds and some plants  allocated. This database is to play with to get the idea of how the program works. The second database is an empty database with no plants, properties or garden beds loaded. Once you have played with the test database and are comfortable with the program then you can load the Empty database and start from scratch. Use the Utilities on the front Menu to do the copying of the database.

Simple Golf Scores

This allows you to enter Golf Course details, Player details, Round details and see how you or a group of friends or social club performs against each other.

You can also convert from Stroke to Stableford as long as you have entered the relevant information when entering the course details.

Simple Practise Typing

A simple program to help you improve your typing accuracy and speed.

It does not teach you the correct fingers to use for each letter.

It shows some common phrases (and allows you to add additional phrases) which you then type in after clicking the start button.

When the typing is complete the accuracy rating and time taken will be displayed.

The history of each phrase is recorded so you can see how you have improved or compete with your friends or family members.

Simple Screens

What a great way of promoting your business products and services whilst customers are in your reception area or a waiting room.

Display pictures, movies, websites and text in any combination, as nominated by you, to present a story of your business and services to your waiting customers.

The purpose of the software is to allow a second monitor to act as a customer information display or to replace the old style 2 line Customer Display type units.

You use the tools provided to build a database of the location and, if required, the sequence of the pictures, movies and websites to be displayed.

You can

• Nominate a folder that contains pictures and it will display each picture in turn and keep it on the screen for the period of time you nominate.
• Nominate a folder that contains movies and it will display each movie in turn.
• Nominate a text message to be displayed
• Nominate if you want to show all pictures then all movies then all text messages

• Setup a story by nominating the sequence of Rich Text Files, Pictures, Movies and Web sites to be displayed

Simple Squares

This is a game in its basic format is similar to naughts and crosses to be played by two players. It has many options so that you can check for

• You can change the number of squares in the matrix from 3 to 30 or anywhere in between.
• Matching color squares in a line either horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
• Number of colored squares that are touching.
• Pattern matching for up to 4 different patterns based on 0 , 90, 180 or 270 degree rotation from the original nominated pattern.
• Allocates points to each type of matching so you can compete to se who gets to a nominated number of points first.
• Has a timer so that you can nominate a number of seconds to take a move and then defaults to the other player.

Simple Game 1

This simple game was written as a bit of fun.

It displays multiple squares on a page (between 9 and 625 actually) and depending on the options you chose in the configuration file the program will work slightly differently.

You can have colored squares only or have colored squares with numbers in them. If you chose the number squares then the numbers must be clicked in the correct numerical sequence starting at 1.

After a nominated time delay the squares that have not been clicked will be redisplayed on the screen in a different array sequence. To make it harder change the delay seconds from the default of 5 to a lower number.

If pictures are available in the folder you have chosen then these will be gradually displayed as you correctly click the squares.

Simple Game 2

This simple game was written as a bit of fun and is a modified version of the Simple Game 1. Unfortunately this game is not free after the trial period.

It displays multiple squares on a page (between 9 and 625 actually) and depending on the options you chose in the configuration file the program will work slightly differently.

You can chose up to 6 different colors to be active at any one time. The squares must be clicked in the correct color and number sequence.

You can have colored squares only or have colored squares with numbers in them. If you chose the number squares then the numbers must be clicked in the correct numerical sequence starting at 1.

After a nominated time delay the squares that have not been clicked will be redisplayed on the screen in a different array sequence. To make it harder change the delay seconds from the default of 5 to a lower number.

Simple Game 3

This simple game was written as a bit of fun and is a modified version of the Simple Game 2.

Unfortunately this game is not free after the trial period.

It displays a floating button which can contain colors or pictures. If you chose a nominated button then a question can be displayed so that you can test your knowledge of specific questions.
You can configure the system to do many things. See link to Game 3 pages.
You can setup your own questions or modify the questions that come with the game.

Can be used to assist in coordination and education on specific subjects based on questions that you setup.

 

Simple Game 4

This simple game was written as a bit of fun and is a modified version of the previous Simple Games although it is a bit harder depending on how it is configured.

Unfortunately this game is not free after the trial period.

It displays from 1 to 15 different coloured buttons for as period of time before changing the color. When the color (or picture) is changed you must try to click on it to score a successful click.
You can configure the system to do many things. See link to Game 4 pages.

Can be used to assist in coordination and mouse speed.

 

Simple File Rename

I wrote this as I was sick and tired of the names of photo files when downloaded from a camera to a PC.

This program allows you to copy photo files ( or other files) to a new folder and assign them names based on criteria you have requested based on the Date_Taken, Date_Created or Date_Modified. Allows you to assign names based on a grid of dates and locations. This means that if you new you were in Paris between two dates then you could assign Paris to part of the file name. This makes filing and creating photo folders much easier.
